TASMANIAN INDUSTRIAL COMMISSION Industrial Relations Act 1984 Federated Clerks Union of Australia, SECURITY INDUSTRY AWARD
Parties and Persons Bound REASONS FOR DECISION In this matter the Federated Clerks Union of Australia, Tasmanian Branch (FCU) sought the deletion of all references to that organisation in the Security Industry Award. Mrs Dowd appearing for the FCU indicated that the union does not have any members in the Security and Watching Industry. This aspect together with the fact that the award does not contain any classifications for clerks makes it appropriate for the FCU to be deleted from the award. The Order is attached operative from the date of this decision. For hearing purposes I joined application T.3412 of 1991 with this matter. Application T.3412 of 1991 was referred to me by the President pursuant to Section 65A(2) of the Industrial Relations Act 1984. This was subsequent to the FCU writing to the Registrar requesting him to make application to the President for leave to recall the certificate of registration for amendment in the event the Commission determined that the FCU no longer has an interest in the award. In the hearing of this matter the FCU satisfied the Commission that it no longer has any interest in the award. Accordingly this determination is forwarded to the Registrar pursuant to Section 65A(6).
