LAUNDRY AND DRY CLEANING AWARD

COMMISSION R K GOZZI

HOBART 21 February 1992

Second minimum rates adjustment

REASONS FOR DECISION

In this matter the Federated Miscellaneous Workers Union of Australia, Tasmanian Branch sought the variation of the Laundry and Dry Cleaning Award to provide for the second minimum rates adjustment.

The first minimum rates adjustment was made in this award consequential to the finalisation of the classification structure (T.3059 of 1991) operative from the first pay period to commence on or after 28 August 1991.

Having regard to the foregoing this application for the second minimum rates adjustment is in accord with the Minimum Rates Adjustment Wage Fixing Principle. Accordingly the award will be varied operative from the first pay period to commence on or after 5 February 1992.

The order is attached.
