Wage rates - State Wage November 1989 - Second minimum rates adjustment application granted - FFPP 29 May 1992 - Award variation - Contract of employment

REASONS FOR DECISION

This application, lodged by the Australian Workers' Union, Tasmanian Branch, was for the purpose of varying the Fish Aquaculture and Marine Products Award to:

    (a) reflect the second minimum rates adjustment in accordance with the Wage Fixing Principles, and

    (b) redraft and simplify the contract of employment clause to eliminate unnecessary verbage.

The first minimum rates adjustment was granted in this award on 29 November 19911 and was operative from the first full pay period to commence on or after 15 November 1991.

This consent application is endorsed by the Commission as it conforms with the Wage Fixing Principles and the Public Interest requirements of the Act.
