FIBREGLASS AND PLASTICS AWARD

COMMISSIONER R J WATLING

19 June 1992

Wage rates - State Wage November 1989 - Third minimum rates adjustment consent application - FFPP 30 July 1992

REASONS FOR DECISION

The second minimum rates adjustment was granted to the Fibreglass and Plastics Award from the first full pay period to commence on or after 30 January 1992.

This application was lodged by the National Union of Workers, Tasmanian Branch for the purpose of varying the wage rates contained in this award by inserting the third minimum rates adjustment.

The parties to the hearing presented an agreed position which was reflected in Exhibit S1 tendered by Mr Strickland of the Nation Union of Workers, Tasmanian Branch.

This consent application for the third minimum rates adjustment is consistent with the Wage Fixing Principles and therefore it is granted in the terms agreed to by the parties including the operative date i.e. the first full pay period to commence on or after 30 July 1992 and I decide accordingly.

The order giving effect to this decision is attached.
