FIBREGLASS AND PLASTICS AWARD

COMMISSIONER R J WATLING

4 March 1993

Wage rates - State Wage Case November 1989 - Fourth and final minimum rates adjustment - consent application - ffpp 3 March 1993

REASONS FOR DECISION

The third minimum rates adjustment was granted to the Fibreglass and Plastics Award from the first full pay period to commence on or after 30 July 1992.

This application was lodged by the National Union of Workers, Tasmanian Branch for the purpose of varying the wage rates contained in this award by inserting the fourth and final minimum rates adjustment.

The parties to the hearing presented an agreed position which was reflected in Exhibit S1 tendered by Mr Strickland of the Nation Union of Workers, Tasmanian Branch.

This consent application for the final minimum rates adjustment is consistent with the Wage Fixing Principles and the agreed agenda for restructuring this award, therefore it is granted in the terms agreed to by the parties including the operative date i.e. the first full pay period to commence on or after 3 March 1993 and I decide accordingly.

The order giving effect to this decision is attached.
