REASONS FOR DECISION

This matter concerned the determination of interest for the Community Services Employer Organistion (Tasmania) (CSEOT) in the Community Services Award. The CSEOT was registered as an employer organistion in matter TR.451 of 1993.

Reverend Dr Rayner appearing for CSEOT satisfied the Commission that the requirements of Section 63(10)(c)(i) and (ii) had been met by CSEOT. Additionally I am satisfied, having regard to Section 63(10)(c)(iii), that the orderly conduct of industrial relations in the Community Services industry will not be prejudiced by the granting of an interest in the award to the CSEOT.

In the circumstances interest is granted to the CSEOT in the Community Services Award operative from 15 September 1993. A copy of this determination has been forwarded to the Registrar pursuant to Section 63(12) of the Act.
