Industrial Relations Act 1984
s.23 application for award or variation of award

Australian Liquor, Hospitality and Miscellaneous Workers Union -
Tasmanian Branch

(T.5753 of 1995)

CHILD CARE AND CHILDRENS SERVICES AWARD

DEPUTY PRESIDENT A ROBINSON

HOBART, 2 October 1995

Award variation - Clause 8 - Wage Rates - Trainees - consent matter - ffpp 21 June 1995

REASONS FOR DECISION

This matter concerned an application by the Australian Liquor, Hospitality and Miscellaneous Workers Union - Tasmanian Branch to vary the Child Care and Childrens Services Award.

The application sought to vary Clause 8 - Wage Rates - so as to reinsert provisions relating to Career Start Traineeships which were inadvertently omitted when an earlier order was drafted.

As the application was one of consent which is simply to correct an omission, the application is granted with retrospective effect as agreed by the parties.

Operative Date

This variation shall have effect from the first full pay period to commence on or after 21 June 1995.

Order is attached.
