Industrial Relations Act 1984
s.23 application for award or variation of award

Health Services Union of Australia,
Tasmania No. 1 Branch

(T.5927 of 1995)

DISABILITY SERVICE PROVIDERS AWARD

DEPUTY PRESIDENT ROBINSON

HOBART, 13 November 1995

Award variation - deletion of subclause (c)(ii) from Clause 6 - Parties and Persons Bound

REASONS FOR DECISION

This matter concerns an application by the Health Services Union of Australia, Tasmania No. 1 Branch to vary the Disability Service Providers Award by deleting from Clause 6 - Parties and Persons Bound the name of the Australian Nursing Federation Tasmanian Branch (ANF) and its officers and members.

The matter was one of consent and was consequential upon a finding that the ANF no longer has an interest in this award [previously known as the Welfare and Voluntary Agencies Award] in a decision handed down on 23 October 1995 in matter T.5757 of 1995.

Given the circumstances it is my decision to grant the application and the award will be varied accordingly with effect on and from 8 November 1995.

A. Robinson
