REASONS FOR FURTHER DECISION

This application was lodged by the Australian Liquor, Hospitality and Miscellaneous Workers Union - Tasmanian Branch (the applicant) for the purpose of varying the Wholesale Plant Bakeries Award to correct an error made by the parties when the wage rates and conditions of employment were made for what was then a new award of the Commission.

The clause subject to this application is Clause 8 - Wage Rates, subclause (e) - Overtime - Part Time and Casual Employees (as defined), where the percentage to be used for the purpose of calculating overtime entitlements is to be altered from 4.60 to 5.26 percent.

The matter came before the Commission with the consent of the parties. The award will be varied in the manner sought by the parties, that the first full pay period to commence on or after 9 October 1995 being the date on which the error occurred.
