Request by an organisation for cancellation of its registration - registration cancelled with effect from 12 November 1999 REASONS FOR DECISION The Tasmanian Chamber of Retailers was placed in liquidation on 27 April 1999 as a members' voluntary winding up by a special resolution passed at a meeting of its members. Mr John W Woods, of Moore Robsons Chartered Accountants, was appointed liquidator. In correspondence to the Registrar dated 4 October 1999, but not received until 12 November 1999, the liquidator has advised that the winding up process is effectively completed and as a consequence has requested the cancellation of the registration of the Tasmanian Chamber of Retailers as an organization. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 68(1A) of the Industrial Relations Act 1984, I hereby cancel the registration of the Tasmanian Chamber of Retailers as an organization with effect from 12 November 1999.
