Industrial agreement - application to become party to an industrial agreement

REASONS FOR DECISION

[1] In Matter T No. 11814 of 2004 the Commission registered an agreement to be known as the Tasman Group Services Pty Ltd Longford Meat Company Maintenance Industrial Agreement 2004 (the Agreement). The Agreement came into effect on 25 November 2004 for a period of 3 years.

[2] The parties to the Agreement are Tasman Group Services Pty Ltd trading as Longford Meat Company and the Australasian Meat Industry Employees' Union, Tasmanian Branch.

[3] Compass Recruitment by application pursuant to s.57 of the Act sought to become a party to the Agreement.

[4] There being no objection by any of the parties to the Agreement the Commission consents to the application.

[5] Accordingly Compass Recruitment will be a named party to the Tasman Group Services Pty Ltd - Longford Meat Company Maintenance Industrial Agreement 2004 effective from 13 April 2005.
