T1856 - 14 April

IN THE TASMANIAN INDUSTRIAL COMMISSION

Industrial Relations Act 1984

T.1856 of 1989

IN THE MATTER OF AN APPLICATION BY THE FEDERATED MISCELLANEOUS WORKERS UNION OF AUSTRALIA, TASMANIAN BRANCH TO VARY THE MISCELLANEOUS WORKERS AWARD

RE: SUPERANNUATION

COMMISSIONER R. K. GOZZI

HOBART, 14 April 1989

REASONS FOR DECISION

In my decision in this matter dated 10 April 1989 I excluded Classic Video trading as Video City and Impulse Video Warehouse from superannuation provisions agreed by the parties to the Miscellaneous Workers Award.

Subsequent to the issue of my decision I was advised by Mr Sertori from the Tasmanian Confederation of Industries, who represented the employers in the original proceedings, that the two aforementioned employers have agreed to be included in the superannuation arrangements endorsed by the Commission.

Accordingly the order [correction order] foreshadowed in my 10 April decision is attached.

R.K. Gozzi
