IN THE TASMANIAN INDUSTRIAL COMMISSION Industrial Relations Act 1984
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 65A(1) of the Industrial Relations Act 1984, the Registrar requested leave to recall the Certificate of Registration of the Australian Nursing Federation, Tasmanian Branch. The application was made on the grounds that the organisation concerned no longer had an interest in the following: 1. Nurses (Public Service) Award This matter was referred to me by the Acting President pursuant to Section 65A(2) of the Act for the purpose of making a determination under Section 65A(3). After considering the submissions presented, I am satisfied that the Australian Nursing Federation, Tasmanian Branch no longer has an interest in the abovementioned awards. This fact was also acknowledged and accepted by Mr. G. Grant, representing the ANF in these proceedings. This determination shall now be forwarded to the Registrar for finalisation in accordance with the provisions of the Act. ORDER As the Nurses (Public Service), Nurses (Public Hospitals) and Nurses (Mental Health Services) Awards no longer exist as awards of the Tasmanian Industrial Commission, there is no requirement for me to make amendments to the Parties and Persons Bound clause in those awards, however, in the case of the General Conditions of Service Award the Order giving effect to this determination is attached and will be operative from 14 May 1990.
