TASMANIAN INDUSTRIAL COMMISSION Industrial Relations Act 1984 Federated Clerks Union of Australia TFGA Industrial Association Australian Mines and Metals Association CLERICAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE EMPLOYEES (PRIVATE SECTOR) AWARD
Determination of award interest REASONS FOR DECISION In accordance with section 65A of the Act, the above organisations requested the Registrar to apply to the President, for leave to recall their certificate of registration, and to reissue it amended to record their interest in the newly made Clerical and Administrative Employees (Private Sector) Award. The Registrar has sought leave to recall the certificates for that purpose, but, prior to granting that request, the Commission must determine whether the organisations mentioned have an interest in the award as set out in Section 63(10)(c). All three organisations meet the relevant requirements of that section and there was no opposition to the granting of interest. I am therefore satisfied that interest in the award should be granted. A copy of this determination will be forwarded to the Registrar for the purposes of sections 63(12) and 65A(6). Accordingly, the award will be varied to reflect the interest of: the Federated Clerks Union of Australia (Tasmanian Branch), the Australian Mines and Metals Association (Incorporated), the TFGA Industrial Association; and the statutory interest of the Tasmanian Confederation of Industries. The order varying the award is attached; it is operative from 23 October 1990.
