TP1/34

IN THE TASMANIAN INDUSTRIAL COMMISSION

    Industrial Relations Act 1984

TP1/34 IN THE MATTER OF AN OBJECTION BY THE FEDERATED LIQUOR AND ALLIED INDUSTRIES EMPLOYEES' UNION OF AUSTRALIA, TASMANIAN BRANCH TO THE GRANTING OF AWARD INTEREST TO THE SHOP DISTRIBUTIVE AND ALLIED EMPLOYEES' ASSOCIATION, TASMANIAN BRANCH

RE: RESTAURANT KEEPERS AWARD and Correction Order

DEPUTY PRESIDENT HOBART, 18 June 1990

REASONS FOR DECISION

This matter concerns the question of award interest and a reference pursuant to Section 63(10) of the Industrial Relations Act 1984.

Whereas the Shop Distributive and Allied Employees' Association, Tasmanian Branch (SDAEA) had sought to have an interest in the Restaurant Keepers Award and the Federated Liquor and Allied Industries Employees' Union of Australia, Tasmanian Branch (FLAIEU) had lodged an objection to such interest, the SDAEA subsequently advised that it wished to withdraw its application.

In accordance with the requirements of the Act I now determine that the SDAEA does not have an interest in the Restaurant Keepers Award and the Registrar is advised accordingly.

Order is attached.

A Robinson
DEPUTY PRESIDENT
