T3055 and T3056 - 26 September
TASMANIAN INDUSTRIAL COMMISSION Industrial Relations Act 1984 The Australasian Meat Industry Employees Union, ABATTOIRS AWARD
Structural Efficiency Principle - second stage REASONS FOR FURTHER DECISION In my reasons for Supplementary Decision dated 19 September 1991, which was issued primarily to settle the order for the second stage structural efficiency adjustment, I indicated that the span of hours in Supermarkets would be between 4.00am and 7.00pm Monday to Friday and 6.00am to 6.00 pm on Saturdays. This did not correctly reflect the 4 per cent second tier trade offs negotiated earlier and endorsed by the Commission. To correctly specify the span of hours in supermarkets subject to the Meat Trades Award I now indicate that the span of hours is as follows: 4.00am to 7.00pm Monday to Wednesday 4.00am to 9.00pm Thursday to Friday 6.00am to 6.00pm Saturday The order issued with my 19 September 1991 decision referred to above properly specified those hours and accordingly no further action is necessary.
