TASMANIAN INDUSTRIAL COMMISSION

Industrial Relations Act 1984
s.65A application for determination of award interest

Federated Clerks Union of Australia
Tasmanian Branch

(T.Nos. 3411, 3413 and 3414 of 1991)

BUILDING TRADES AWARD
PLUMBERS AWARD
VEGETABLE PRESERVERS AWARD

COMMISSIONER R J WATLING

17 October 1991

Award interest - certificate of registration

REASONS FOR DECISION

These applications were made by the Federated Clerks Union of Australia, Tasmanian Branch, pursuant to section 65A of the Industrial Relations Act 1984 for the purpose of having their certificate of registration recalled and reissued having been amended to delete the:

Building Trades Award
Plumbers Award
Vegetable Preservers Award

on the grounds that they no longer have an interest in those awards.

As a result of restructuring the abovementioned awards, in accordance with the Wage Fixing Principles, clerks that previously fell within the Scope of those awards are now covered by the Administrative and Clerical Employees Award.

That being the case I find that the Federated Clerks Union of Australia, Tasmanian Branch, no longer has an interest in the awards being the subject of these applications and therefore their certificate of registration should be varied to reflect that situation and I decide accordingly.

These matters will be finalised by the Registrar.
