Health Services Union of Australia Tasmania No. 1 Branch (T.3512 of 1991)
HOSPITALS AWARD
COMMISSIONER R J WATLING |

Amend application
REASONS FOR DECISION
At the commencement of the hearing the applicant sought and was granted leave to amend the application which will now include the deletion of Division B - Employees Providing Care to Aged Persons.
The amended application will now read as follows:
"In accordance with the requirements of the structural efficiency principle the applicant seeks to delete divisions B, C and D from the award. It is the view of the applicant that these divisions should not appear in the award because their scope clauses are not appropriate. The applicant intends to have award coverage of the employees covered by divisions B, C and D dealt with in other ways."
This application is now adjourned sine die and will be relisted for hearing when next the Commission deals with applications T.3478 of 1991 and T.3524 of 1991.
