Industrial Relations Act 1984
s.23 application for award or variation of award

The Ambulance Employees' Association of Tasmania.
(T.3644 of 1992)

and

Minister administering the Tasmanian State Service Act 1984

TASMANIAN AMBULANCE SERVICE AWARD

COMMISSIONER R K GOZZI

HOBART, 16 January 1992

Expense-related deductions

REASONS FOR DECISION

The Ambulance Employees' Association of Tasmania sought the variation of the Tasmanian Ambulance Service Award by increasing expense-related allowances by 4.889 per cent representing the movement in the Eight Capital Cities CPI for the period March 1990 to March 1991.

Adjustments of this nature have been approved in the past by the Commission in this award. Also more recently the General Conditions of Service Award was varied in matter T.3556 of 1991 to give effect to CPI linked increases in expense-related allowances.

In the circumstances and as the application conforms with the Allowances Wage Fixing Principle the award will be varied in the manner requested operative from 16 January 1992.

The order is attached.
