CLAY AND MUD PRODUCTS AWARD

COMMISSIONER P A IMLACH

5 August 1992

Wage rates - minimum rates adjustment - 3rd increase

REASONS FOR DECISION

This was an application by The Australian Workers' Union, Tasmania Branch (the AWU) for the third Minimum Rates Adjustment (MRA) to be applied to the Clay and Mud Products Award (the Award).

The MRA process was commenced in the Award through matter T3220 of 1991. The second MRA was implemented in the Award in matter T3602 of 1991. This application merely seeks to take the process one step further as projected in the original matter.

The AWU sought for this third MRA to commence from the beginning of the first full pay period to commence on or after 28 July 1992.

The Tasmanian Confederation of Industries confirmed its agreement to the application.

The Award will be amended, as agreed, operative from the first full pay period to commence on or after 28 July 1992.  [Order]
