BOOTMAKERS AWARD

Award variation - fourth minimum rates adjustment

In this matter the Textile, Clothing and Footwear Union of Australia, Tasmanian Branch sought the consent variation of Divisions A and B of Clause 8 - Wage Rates of the Bootmakers Award to implement the fourth and final Minimum Rates Adjustment.

The adjustment is in accordance with the Wage Fixing Principles and the structural efficiency processes earlier determined by the Commission.

Accordingly the award is varied as set out in Exhibit S1 operative from the first full pay period to commence on or after 10 August 1993.

The order is attached.
