TASMANIAN INDUSTRIAL COMMISSION Industrial Relations Act 1984 Health Services Union of Australia TASMANIAN AMBULANCE SERVICE AWARD
Award variation - Clause 6 Parties and Persons Bound - alteration of union title due to amalgamation REASONS FOR DECISION This matter arose consequential to the amalgamation of the Ambulance Employees' Association of Tasmanian (AEAT) with the Health Services Union of Australia, Tasmania No 1 Branch (HSUA). The amalgamated organisation became the Health Services Union of Australia, Tasmanian No 1 Branch. Accordingly as the AEAT was deregistered and in order to give effect to the amalgamation in the Ambulance Services Award, the HSUA made application to vary clause 6 Parties and Persons Bound to include its name in that clause in lieu of the AEAT. The variation is endorsed by the Commission as are the consequential variation to clauses 13(c) and 25(c) respectively. Those latter variations simply delete reference to the AEAT and substitute the HSUA. The operative date of the variation if 3 August 1993. The order is attached.
