Award variation - third minimum rates adjustment

REASONS FOR DECISION

This application was in relation to the implementation of the third stage of the minimum rates adjustments process determined in Matter T3567 of 1991.

The Commission was told that the application was in conformity with the Wage Fixing Principles and was not contrary to the public interest. An operative date of the first full pay period to commence on or after 1 September 1993 was sought. The employer's representative indicated consent to the application.

Accordingly the application received the approval of the Commission and an order in the form sought will be issued in due course.
