REASONS FOR DECISION

In its decision of 30 June 1992 (T.3111 of 1991) the Commission acknowledged and endorsed the agreement of the parties to phase in the minimum rates adjustments for this award.

This application seeks the fourth and final minimum rates adjustment for the Plant Nurseries Award.

The application is a consent matter between the parties and is endorsed by the Commission as it conforms with the Wage Fixing Principles and the agreed agenda as outlined in the earlier decision of the Commission.

The award will be varied in the manner sought by the parties, and will be operative from the first full pay period on or after 31 January 1994.

The orders giving effect to this decision will follow in due course.
