ESTATE AGENTS AWARD

COMMISSIONER P A IMLACH

26 October 1994

Award variation - minimum rates adjustment - 3rd increase

REASONS FOR DECISION

This was an application by the Australian Municipal, Administrative, Clerical and Services Union (the Union) for the third minimum rates adjustment (MRA) to be implemented in the Estate Agents Award (the Award).

The MRA process was commenced in the Award through the jointly heard matters, T4050 and T4051 of 1992 from the first full pay period commencing on or after 1 July 1993.

The second MRA was implemented in the Award through matter T4973 of 1994 commencing from the first full pay period commencing on or after 1 April 1994.

In this application the Union referred to the MRA history for the Award and produced a draft amendment order.

The Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Limited advised its consent to the application and confirmed that the figures in the draft order were correct.

The Award will be amended as requested and, in accordance with the Principles of the Commission, the amendment will operate from the first full pay period to commence on or after 26 October 1994.
