(T.5260 of 1994)

BUILDING TRADES AWARD
(T.5261 of 1994)

COMMISSIONER P A IMLACH

23 November 1994

Award variation - parties and persons bound

REASONS FOR DECISION

These applications made by the Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union, Tasmanian Branch (the Union), which were joined at the outset, were for the name of the Australian Building and Construction Employees' and Builders Labourers' Federation (the BLF) to be deleted from the Building and Construction Industry Award and the Building Trades Award (the Awards).

In support of its applications the Union produced evidence in the form of an exhibit to show that, on 2 November 1994, the Registrar, in matter TR 461 of 1994, in a process of amalgamation cancelled the registration of the BLF and registered the Union effective from 2 November 1994.

The certificate of registration of the Union shows that the Union has an interest in the Awards.

The applications are granted: the Awards will be amended as requested operative from 23 November 1994.

Orders are attached.
