REASONS FOR DECISION

This application for registration was lodged by The Association of Professional Engineers, Scientists and Managers, Australia on 17 May 1994. The matter was heard following a Full Bench hearing on 25 May which granted an application for the cancellation of the registration of The Association of Professional Engineers and Scientists, Australia, Professional Engineers Branch, Tasmania and The Association of Professional Engineers and Scientists, Australia, Professional Scientists Branch.

Having regard to the submissions of Mr Pyrke at a hearing on 25 May, I am satisfied that the application for registration by The Association of Professional Engineers, Scientists and Managers, Australia complies with the requirements for registration specified in the Act and the application is now granted.

A certificate of registration will be issued pursuant to Section 64(1) following the determination by a Commissioner of award interest.
