Award variation - name change - parties and persons bound - delete Printing and Allied Trades Employers' Federation of Australia, Tasmanian Region - insert in lieu thereof Printing Industries Association of Australia, Tasmanian Region - consent matter - application granted - award varied - operative 29 February 1996
REASONS FOR DECISION
This application, lodged by Printing Industries Association of Australia, Tasmanian Region (the applicant), was to vary the Printers Award by deleting from Clause 6 - Parties and Person Bound, all reference to the Printing and Allied Trades Employers' Federation of Australia, Tasmanian Region and insert in lieu thereof the name of the Printing Industries Association of Australia, Tasmanian Region.
The applicant in this matter had notified the Registrar, in accordance with the requirements of the Act, of their change of name.
On the 11 January 1996 the applicant was notified by the Registrar that their Certificate of Registration had been varied to reflect the name change of the organisation.
Given the foregoing, I am satisfied that the Printers Award should be varied in the manner sought by the applicant, and I decide accordingly.
The Order giving effect to this decision is attached.
