TASMANIAN INDUSTRIAL COMMISSION

Industrial Relations Act 1984
s.23 application for award or variation of award

The Australian Workers' Union, Tasmania Branch
(T6261 of 1996)

NATIONAL TRAINING WAGE (TASMANIAN PRIVATE SECTOR) AWARD

DEPUTY PRESIDENT B.R. JOHNSON

HOBART, 12 July 1996

Award variation - Clause 6 - Parties and Persons Bound - insertion of The Australian Workers' Union, Tasmania Branch - application granted - operative 11/7/96

REASONS FOR DECISION

In T6141 of 1996 Robinson DP, by decision dated 19 April 1996, granted The Australian Workers' Union, Tasmania Branch (AWU) an interest in the National Training Wage (Tasmanian Private Sector) Award with effect on and from 17 April 1996.

In the present matter the AWU now seeks to vary the particular award by adding its name to Clause 6 - Parties and Persons Bound. The respondent employer organisation, the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Limited, does not oppose the application.

In the circumstances I grant the application, with effect as on and from 11 July 1996. My formal Order to that effect will issue in due course.
