TASMANIAN INDUSTRIAL COMMISSION

Industrial Relations Act 1984
s.65A application for determination of award interest

The Salaried Pharmacists' Association (Tasmania Branch)
(T6453 of 1996)

PHOTOGRAPHIC INDUSTRY AWARD

COMMISSIONER R J WATLING

HOBART, 19 September 1996

Award interest - withdrawal - application granted

REASONS FOR DECISION

This application, lodged by The Salaried Pharmacists' Association (Tasmania Branch) (the applicant), was for the purpose of having its interest in the Photographic Industry Award deleted from its Certificate of Registration.

The applicant advised the Commission that its application was based on the fact that The Salaried Pharmacists' Association (Tasmania Branch) had no members employed in the industry now described in the scope clause of the Photographic Industry Award (previously the Chemists Award).

Having taken into account such matters as specified in s.63(10)(c) of the Act, I hereby determine, pursuant to s.65A, that The Salaried Pharmacists' Association (Tasmania Branch) no longer has an interest in the Photographic Industry Award which was previously titled the Chemists Award.

A copy of this determination shall be provided to the Registrar in accordance with the requirements of s.65A(6) of the Act.
