Award - rescind - operative ffpp 27 September 1996 REASONS FOR DECISION This application, lodged by the Minister for Public Sector Administration (the applicant), sought to rescind the Pharmacists Award. Ms A Watt, for the applicant, submitted that no employee was classified under the Pharmacists Award as a result of the making of the Community and Health Services Award. She said, given the foregoing, the award was now superfluous. Section 32(7A) of the Act states -
At the request of the applicant and The Community & Public Sector Union (State Public Services Federation Tasmania), being the only other party to the award, I hereby determine that the Pharmacists Award be rescinded as an award of the Tasmanian Industrial Commission on and from 27 September 1996, and I so Order.
