REASONS FOR DECISION

This application, lodged by The Retail Traders Association of Tasmania (the applicant), was for the purpose of varying the Baking Industry Award.

The applicant requested, as it had been granted an interest in the award arising out of application T6996 of 1997, that its name be inserted in the said award.

I am satisfied that the applicant has been granted an interest in the said award and therefore the award will be varied to include the name of The Retail Traders Association of Tasmania.

The order giving effect to this decision is attached and, given the nature of the application, the format of the clause will be varied to take into account this decision.

The operative date will be on and from 2 July 1997.
