Award variation - vary Part II Clause 1 subclause (e)- consent matter - application granted - award varied REASONS FOR DECISION [1] On 28 September 2001, an application was lodged by The Australian Workers' Union, Tasmania Branch pursuant to s.23 of the Industrial Relations Act 1984, to vary the Quarrying and Lime Processing Award. [2] This application seeks to vary Subclause (e) of Clause 1 - Contract of Employment of PART II - EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIP AND ASSOCIATED MATTERS. [3] When the matter came on for hearing on Wednesday, 31 October 2001, Mr R Rollins appeared for the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Limited and Mr R Flanagan appeared for The Australian Workers' Union, Tasmania Branch. [4] This consent application was supported by both parties. [5] The award will be varied in the manner set out in the draft Order attached.
