REASONS FOR DECISION

(1) This application lodged on 22 October 2001 by the Australian Municipal, Administrative, Clerical & Services Union pursuant to Section 23 of the Industrial Relations Act 1984 (The Act), seeks to vary the Business Services Award (the Award).

(2) Mr Paterson appeared for the Australian Municipal, Administrative, Clerical & Services Union and Mr Watson for the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Limited. Mr Paterson said this application sought to vary, the Award in a manner consistent with the 2001 State Wage Case in matter T9605 of 2001.

(3) This consent variation amends Part III, Clause 2 - Wage Rates and is to take effect from the first full pay period to commence on or after 1 December 2001.  Order
