Award variation - deletion of obsolete appendices - consent matter - application granted - award varied - operative ffpp 1 August 2002

REASONS FOR DECISION

(1) This is an application pursuant to s.23 of the Industrial Relations Act 1984, made by the Australian Municipal, Administrative, Clerical and Services Union (AMACSU) and lodged on 23 July 2002.

[2] The application sought to vary the Aerated Waters Award; and, in particular to the deletion of:

Appendix 1 - Implementation of Clerical and Administrative Classifications; and

Appendix 2 - Table of Variations to the Award;

on the ground the appendices are obsolete.

[3] The parties attending this hearing consented to the variation.

[4] This application is approved as it is consistent with the Wage Fixing Principles, in that it deletes obsolete provisions.

[5] The Order giving effect to this decision will be contained in the Order arising out of the State Wage Case decision (T10230 of 2002, T10288 of 2002 and T10289 of 2002).
