Industrial dispute - alleged unfair termination of employment - matter settled - Order by Consent - file closed ORDER BY CONSENT [1] On 19 August 2003, Josef Murray Hutchison-Steele (the applicant) applied to the President, pursuant to Section 29(1A) of the Industrial Relations Act 1984, for a hearing before a Commissioner in respect of an industrial dispute with Screensprint Pty Ltd arising out of the alleged unfair termination of employment. [2] The matter was set down for conciliation conference in Hobart on Thursday, 28 August 2003. [3] Appearances: Mr Hutchison-Steele in person. [4] Following preliminary submissions the hearing was adjourned into private conference, with the Commission, in an effort to find a resolution to the dispute. [5] At the conclusion of the private conference the parties requested that the following consent order be issued: ORDER BY CONSENT I hereby Order, pursuant to s31 of the Industrial Relations Act 1984, with the consent of the parties, that Screensprint Pty Ltd (the respondent) pay to Mr J M Hutchison-Steele of 24 Barossa Road, Glenorchy Tas 7010, the sum of one thousand six hundred and eighty-three dollars ($1,683) gross by no later than close of business on Friday, 5 September 2003. This Order is in full and final settlement of the industrial dispute stated in application T11017 of 2003.
