REASONS FOR DECISION

[1] This is an application by the Australian Municipal, Administrative, Clerical and Services Union to vary, by consent, the Entertainment Award.

[2] Mr I Paterson appeared for the Australian Municipal, Administrative, Clerical and Services Union (AMACSU) and Ms J Thomas appeared for the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Limited (TCCI).

[3] This decision reflects the second step in a three step process to give effect to the agreement reached between the parties to convert the award to a 38 hour per week by an adjustment to the rates of pay.

[4] This consent variation amends Clause 8 - Wage Rates and is to take effect from the first full pay period to commence on or after 1 April 2004.  [Order]
