Industrial dispute - alleged threats as to termination of employment - directions issued

DIRECTIONS

[1] Christine Mary Bennett (T11761 of 2004), Suzanne Marie Hansen (T11762 of 2004), Jennie Reid Chapman Caswell (T11763 of 2004), Debra Louise Johnson (T11764 of 2004) and Bruce Richard Limbrick (T11803 of 2004) (the applicants) applied to the President, pursuant to Section 29(1A) of the Industrial Relations Act 1984, for a hearing before a Commissioner in respect of an industrial disputes with National Trust of Australia (Tasmania) (the employer), arising out of alleged threats as to termination of employment.

[2] These matters proceeded by way of a Conciliation Conference on 3 December 2004 at the Supreme Court, Cameron Street, Launceston, Tasmania.

[3] Appearances: Ms D Butler, The Launceston Community Legal Centre Inc., for and with the applicants; Mr P McDougall, of Peter McDougall, Barrister and Solicitor, with Ms P Bartlett and Mr R Ruddle, for the employer.

[4] Arising out of the above conciliation conference, and pursuant to Section 21[2][n] of the Act, I issued the following directions:
