REASONS FOR DECISION

[1] This application, lodged pursuant to s.55 of the Industrial Relations Act 1984 (the Act) by Health Services Union of Australia, Tasmania No. 1 Branch (the union) and National Disability Services Tasmania (the employer), was for the purpose of filing an industrial variation agreement with the Commission.

[2] A hearing commenced at the Edward Braddon Commonwealth Law Courts Building, 39-41 Davey Street, Hobart on Wednesday 11 February 2009

[3] The agreement, to be known as the Disability Services Industry Wages Agreement 2008 - Variation Agreement, is to be operative on and from 11 February 2009 and it is to remain in force until 11 March 2009.
