Industrial dispute - long service leave - directions issued


DIRECTIONS


On 17 September 2009 the Liquor, Hospitality and Miscellaneous Union - Tasmanian Branch (the Union), applied to the President, pursuant to s.29(1) of the Industrial Relations Act 1984 (the Act) for a hearing before a Commissioner in respect of an industrial dispute with Queenstown RSL Sub Branch (the employer) arising out of the alleged entitlement to long service leave of Ms Vera Hine.

A hearing commenced in Ulverstone on 27 October 2009 and continued by teleconference on 18 March 2010.

As a consequence of that conference I issue the following directions pursuant to Section 21[2][n]:

1. The applicant file and serve an outline of evidence, together with any documents and authorities relied upon by 1 April 2010.

2. The respondent file and serve an outline of evidence, together with any documents and authorities relied upon by 23 April 2010.

The matter is listed for hearing on 27 May at 10 am, with Friday 28 May available if necessary
