Appeal against a decision of Deputy President Abey in Matter T13775 of 2011

DIRECTIONS

This is an appeal pursuant to s.70(1)(b) of the Industrial Relations Act 1984 (the Act) by the Minister administering the State Service Act 2000 (MASSA) against the decision of Deputy President Abey in Matter T13775 of 2011 issued 1 August 2011. 
The following directions are issued pursuant to s.21[2][n] of the Act.

• The appellant, MASSA, is to file written submissions, witness statements and any other relevant documentation and authorities on which it will rely with alison.oakes@justice.tas.gov.au with copies to the respondent by no later than close of business 3 October, 2011

• The respondent, Margaret Howell, will file comprehensive written submissions, any witness statements and any other relevant documentation and authorities on which it will rely with alison.oakes@justice.tas.gov.au with copies to the appellant by no later than close of business 10 October, 2011

If required a short oral hearing will be held on 14 October, 2011.
