CLARIFICATION

[1] The Minister also submitted that wage-related allowances should be subject to a further adjustment of 1.81% to incorporate the previous state minimum wage adjustment in order to maintain the relativity of these allowances to national and state minimum wage adjustments.

[2] Clarification:  Insert after ‘opposed’ in para 13, of the decision issued on 18 August 2011, the following:

"The application by the Minister to vary wage-related allowances included a variation of a further 1.81% which incorporated an adjustment to reflect the 2010 state minimum wage thereby maintaining the relativity of these allowances to national and state minimum wage adjustments.  The variations reflect the cumulative increase".
