REASONS FOR DECISION

This application was lodged by the Automotive, Food, Metals, Engineering, Printing & Kindred Industries Union pursuant to section 43 of the Industrial Relations Act 1984, for interpretation of the Fish, Aquaculture and Marine Products Award.

The matter was listed for hearing on 4 October 1996. After hearing submissions from the parties, the hearing was adjourned pending further advice to the Commission.

Advice has now been received from the applicant by letter dated 14 October 1996, that the matter has been resolved and that an application to vary and thereby clarify the provision in contention will be made. The applicant requested that the file be closed.

Accordingly this matter is concluded; the file is closed.
