This consent matter concerns the inclusion of Higher Duties and more Responsible Duties provisions in the Southern Regional Cemetery Trust Staff Award (the Award).

The application for variation, made by the Tasmanian Public Service Association (the Association) arises as a consequence of a Full Bench decision I which determined the subject matter of this application in the terms sought by the Association in this case.

In the circumstances a new subclause (e) is required to be added to Clause 9. Clause 9 makes reference to the General Conditions of Service Award; accordingly shorthand reference to the new provisions, in keeping with the format of the award, is all that is necessary in this case.

Additionally the parties requested that I delete reference to "Emergency rations" in subclause 9 (c) as this provision is now superfluous.

The Order, operative from the date of this decision will be issued in due course.
