COMMISSIONER R K GOZZI

HOBART 3 March 1993

Second minimum rates adjustment

REASONS FOR DECISION

In this matter the Federated Clerks Union of Australia, Tasmanian Branch sought the variation of Division B ‑ Clerks of the Textile Award to include the second minimum rates adjustment (MRA).

This adjustment is in accord with the arrangements previously agreed by the parties and endorsed by the Commission1.

Therefore the second MRA is granted operative from the first pay period to commence on or after 18 March 1993.

The order is attached.

It should be noted that the MRAs for this award were agreed by the parties to be nine months apart to ameliorate their impact. Also the MRA adjustment will now be included in Division B ‑ Clerks in a supplementary payments column in order to distinguish that payment.
