TASMANIAN INDUSTRIAL COMMISSION Industrial Relations Act 1984 Australian Liquor, Hospitality and Miscellaneous Workers Union - SECURITY INDUSTRY AWARD
Award variation - fifth minimum rates adjustment REASONS FOR DECISION In this matter the Australian Liquor, Hospitality and Miscellaneous Workers Union - Tasmanian Branch, sought the variation of the Security Industry Award to reflect the fifth and final minimum rates adjustment as set out in Exhibit 03 in matter T.3129 of 1991. It should be noted the amounts in that particular exhibit reflect the position as at August 1991. Accordingly, the latest minimum rates adjustments for the various Security Officer classifications in the award incorporates the 2.5 per cent State Wage Case increase awarded operative from August 1991. Having regard to the foregoing I am satisfied that the Supplementary Payments column in Clause 8 - Wage Rates, now reflects the final outcome of the minimum rates adjustment which has now been completed for this award. My order, operative from the first full pay period to commence on or after 13 August 1993 is attached.
